Every note we sing is unique and colourful and contributes to a magnificent palette of sound when we sing together.
‘Changing Choral Colour’ explores how sound is produced, how we can refine our individual sound, and what we need to do with it to improve the blend of our choir.
With the help of some festival volunteers, the session will highlight solutions for creating beautiful harmonies and articulating text appropriately. We’ll also learn about the technique of voice-matching and other advanced methods for balancing and blending a choir.
