FOR THE FILMING (INCLUDING PHOTOGRAPHY) OF WORKSHOPS

UK CHOIR FESTIVAL (“Event”)


1. Promotion and Consents

Workshop Leader grants to Producer an irrevocable and exclusive licence of all present and future copyright and other rights of a similar nature (including rental and lending rights) in and to the film being made and any photography (the constituent elements and component parts of the same), throughout the world for the full period of copyright and all renewals and extensions thereof and thereafter in perpetuity.

Workshop Leader acknowledges that Producer may photograph and film Workshop Leader and Workshop Leader’s provision of Workshop Leader’s services in connection with the Event and Workshop Leader grants to Producer the free of charge right to use and authorise others to use all such photographs and/or recordings for archival purposes, instruction, training, streaming on the event’s online commercial membership platform,  and for the promotion and publicity of the Event, of Producer and/or Producer’s and Russell Scott’s present and future activities in any and all media, by any and all means and in perpetuity to include use in venue and/or production programmes.

Workshop Leader grants to Producer all consents which Producer may require for fullest use of the products of the Workshop Leader’s services pursuant to this letter. 

Workshop Leader irrevocably and unconditionally waives (and shall not assert or bring any claim in respect of) any and all “moral rights” Workshop Leader may have in the products of Workshop Leader’s services pursuant to this letter.

 

2. General

Workshop Leader shall at all times keep the terms of this letter confidential and shall not make any statement or contribute to any material which is derogatory of the Event, the Event and/or Producer.

Where used in this letter, the word “include” shall be deemed to be followed by the words “without limitation”.

This letter shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland (the United Kingdom), and the Courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute between the parties.
